Raji Chako-
According to me, painting is a self searching process and is a way of life.I love to play with emotions on the canvas and is mostly mingled with myths, stories and my life experiences. The lines, colors and the forms comes spontaneously. It’s like detaching myself from the present and going deeper and deeper into my own world..... my swings between reality and fantasy.....and its greatly influenced by the mysticism and beauty of the temple sculptures and the culture and traditions of India.. especially south India.

Sometimes you will see  multicoloured ethereal life situations and the other times, it’s the monochromatic real life situations.

Trained under eminent artists in art for years Raji Chacko is   a graduate in law also who participated in many workshops and exhibitions in Delhi and other parts of India.
She is a well acclaimed artist and her works can be found in several private and public collections in India and abroad. Figures dominate her paintings it is a combination of traditional figurative paintings in a contemporary manner.
