Figurative Painter | Stephen Pan 1963

Stephen Pan is a Chinese figurative painter who was born in Shanghai in 1963. He entered Chinese society at the height of the Red Guards power. Even when the Red Guard was disbanded, China took years to open its doors to welcome any outside influences of culture and tradition. He started to teach at an early age of 20 years and found that his young students were very much eager to learn fine art from him. His oil painting Red Cross was acquired by Beijing Central Art Museum at the age of 22 years, which was a singular honor for a Chinese artist.
