Edouard Jospeh Danton was a French Artist and was born on 26 August 1848 and was of Classical Tradition. Art was in the blood of his family. His grandfather was a wood sculptor and his father Antoine Laurent Danton and uncle Jean-Pierre Danton both were a very successful and well-known sculpture artist’s. 
Edouard Danton was a student of painters like Isidore Pils and Henri Lehmann.

He was very well known among the contemporaries. His art subjects were mainly based on classical mythology and religion. Later he painted number of scenes from various sculpture workshops.
