Ambrosius Benson | An Italian Northern Renaissance Painter

Ambrosius Benson was was a well known Italian painter who later became a part of Northern Renaissance. Most of his art works have been attributed not much is known about him. He did not used to sign his paintings. He painted religious art works and also painted portraits of commission. Though he was an Italian artist but scholars consider him of Flemish school of painting.
