Charles Joseph Frederic was born in 1825 and died in 1900. He was a pupil of Ramnev, Dumont and Cornelius. In the year 1845, Charles Joseph entered the school of Fine Arts when he was twenty years old and made his debut as an artist in the Paris Salon in 1849.
He has created many art works during his life times and created special types of soubrette. He created many subjects which were taken from the French Middle classes. He loved to paint woman, texture in the ladies dresses and draperies. Charles Joseph Frederic Soulacroix created many art works along with Ricci dwelt and Reggianini.
