Liu Yuanshou is a Chinese realist painter and was born in 1967 in Beijing. He got his graduation degree from the Capital Normal University of Beijing in 1991 in oilpainting. He is an award winning artist and has won awards in many art exhibitions throughout Asia which includes country such as Hong Kong, Japan, China and Taiwan.
His paintings are in exhibitions throughout these countries. However this fabulous artist hails from the austere north climate of China but he seems to be very fascinated by the pretty awesome temperature, culture and physical climate of eastern coastal province of Jiangsu which is situated in the north of Shanghai. Liu seems to love silk culture a lot which is very evident from his art works. Silk is very easily evident from Liu’s works and he focuses on portraits of young women from the Jiangsu region.
